- Material of the topcoat. Some materials absorb less heat than others. For example, Acrylic does not absorb as much heat as gray concrete and dark stone.

We have several products used for applying a cool deck coating.
- Classic Texture
This is our most popular coating for pool decks. This acrylic water-base spray texture is sprayed onto a surface then knocked down with a trowel. - SunColor is a water-based acrylic finish coat that can be applied over bare or textured concrete surfaces.
- SunSand adds fine texture to your concrete by using components such as glass beads, aluminum oxide, or other materials.
- SunSplash provides protection from weather, salts, and environmental pollutants, giving you a coating that’s simple to maintain.
